The area “Ogikubo”, where Kiki is locating, has many illustration companies that create anime and video games, no wonder why we have young and creative housemates! At the Ogikubo area, you’ll see lots of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and shopping centers, including a Seiyu, hundred yen shops, and various fresh vegetable shops on the way from the station. There are many supermarkets and shops like Seiyu, Lumine, or Donkihote along the way to Ogikubo station. There is also a busy shopping street with a diversity of restaurants, drug stores, fashion shops,… If you’d rather explore a cute cafe or shops, it is recommended exploring “Nishi Ogikubo” which means West Ogikubo, only one station away or 15mins by bicycle from home. There’s a lot of small, individual cafes, bakeries, restaurants, shops, and a co-working space, etc. which is worth a hangout!
